Retail Leisure Group was founded by Richard Thomas, following a long and successful career in the licence and leisure property industry. Commencing in 2002 as a Graduate Surveyor for Peter Webster & Co, Richard was able to gain a solid foundation in the licence and leisure property sector.

Over Richard’s career, he has worked for some of the world’s largest international consultancies – Savills PLC and Colliers International Group; as well as niche licence and leisure practices – Shelley Sandzer and Fleurets. 

Spanning a range of companies has enabled Richard to become adept at providing a specialised property service to a breadth of clients such as: celebrity chef restaurants to multi-site branded restaurant groups; from gastro bars to pub groups; from private members clubs to gyms and health suites.  For his clients, Richard has either acquired, renewed, disposed of or valued the properties, and given his wealth of experience, he provides a gold star standard of service through regular and effective communication and unrivalled market and technical knowledge.

When he is not working, Richard enjoys running in his local area in South West London, and spending family time with his wife, son and daughter.  Rugby is a large part of his life either watching his beloved Wales or coaching his son’s team at Old Alleynians RFC.
